Reflecting on Paystri

What do you like most about the work we do here?

No day is ever the same! There is always a new challenge or issue I need to tackle.

What are you most proud of in your career?

The daily knowledge that I gain in the payments industry. After 15 years, I can say that I am always learning something new.

What's the most interesting project you have worked on at Paystri?

I really enjoyed working with Daytona Beach police departments and detectives to track down a stolen credit card device with GPS tracking and collaborating on messaging.

How did you get started in the payments industry?

I was browsing for a job on Craigslist and saw an ad for a Boston-based ISO looking for a technical support representative and 15 years later the rest is history!

What's one thing people don't know about you that they would be surprised to find out?

Growing up, I loved going bowling! It was more than a weekend hobby for me. I was even in an international competition.

What's one thing on your bucket list?

I would love to travel to Latvia to visit my family's old home that they escaped from during World War II.

It’s an amazing feat to be with any one company for 5 years, what’s your driving force for your sustainability?

I always go back to the reason why I started as a customer success manager. To my core, I believe my purpose is to use my technical knowledge and out-of-the-box thinking to help people. The way in which I have done so has certainly shifted and changed over the past 5 years at Paystri. But with each role, I have continued to learn and develop and help the customers that we serve. So, no matter what I was doing, I always felt like I was doing what I had been called to do. And there is nothing more sustainable than that.
